Manchester City had a lot of their players feature in the recent 2024 European Championship.
In fact, City had more players from their squad (14) selected to take part in the tournament than any other top-flight side.

Journalist says City are keeping an eye on Dani Olmo
After it was recently claimed by journalist Santi Aouna that City had sent an offer to sign Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig, Florian Plettenberg had this to say on the current situation surrounding the player in a post on his X account.
He said: “RB Leipzig have not yet received an official offer from ManCity for Dani #Olmo! But: #MCFC are monitoring his situation closely and they keep in touch.
“Instead, Barcelona are pushing for Olmo! RB feeling that Barca are leading the race at this stage but Deco/Laporta have to improve their offer … and Olmo remains on the list of FC Bayern!”
Olmo showed in the Euros what he’d be able to offer City
After scoring eight goals and delivering five assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for Leipzig last season, the 26-year-old went on to play a prominent role in Spain’s successful campaign at the Euros.
Specifically, Olmo found the back of the net three times and delivered two assists in six games throughout the tournament.
He also made a crucial clearance off the line against England in the final to help his country ultimately lift the trophy.
This shows a glimpse of what Olmo would be able to offer City if they ended up landing a deal for him before the transfer window shuts.
While they may not have made an offer for him, the fact that they are monitoring the situation shows that they do have some interest in him.
