Cole Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, and it seems that he is missing one particular Etihad Stadium star.

Chelsea signed Cole Palmer from Manchester City in the summer of 2023.

The Blues reportedly paid £40 million in transfer fees for Palmer.

It was disappointing to see Palmer leave.

After all, the 21-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, came through the City youth system.

And, he was also making an impact in the first team.

However, Palmer reportedly wanted to leave, and City did not stand in his way.

Chelsea youngster Cole Palmer on Manchester City star Jack Grealish

One City player that Palmer seems to be missing at Chelsea is Jack Grealish.

The English youngster has spoken highly of Grealish and has noted how the £300,000-a-week (Spotrac) winger used to make him laugh.

Palmer has said that Grealish, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, is a very lively character.

The Chelsea youngster said about Grealish on Sky Sports: “He used to make me laugh so much.

“Think his accent as well, you know. Just the things he said, I always found them funny.

“He is loud, not annoyingly loud, but lively loud.

“He just makes me laugh.”

Jack Grealish an important player for Manchester City

In my view, Jack Grealish is a very important player for Manchester City.

Yes, we know that off the pitch, Grealish is a character.

He is a very lovely guy who is always happy and smiling.

But, Grealish takes his football seriously.

He really does.

The England international would not have been a success at Manchester City if he were not keen on improving and developing as a footballer.

Although Grealish did not have the best of times in his first season at City, he grew last campaign and played his role in the team’s success.

Pep Guardiola’s side won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season.

Grealish made 23 starts in the Premier League and 12 starts in the UEFA Champions League last season.
