Mads Bidstrup has named Bernardo Silva as one of the best dribblers he has ever come up against.
Speaking to ChrisMD on his YouTube channel, the RB Leipzig midfielder touched on how difficult it was to contend with the Manchester City technician.
However, this is not the first instance in which Bernardo Silva’s sumptuous dribbling has been hailed.
Mads Bidstrup says Bernardo Silva is one of the best dribblers he has faced
Recently, Eduardo Camavinga revealed that the 29-year-old is the toughest opponent he has ever faced, recalling his battle with him during the Champions League semi-final last season, in which the former was up against him as a makeshift left-back.
Eberechi Eze also claimed that the £43 million (BBC Sport) man is one of the best dribblers in the entirety of the Premier League.
Mads Bidstrup has also given an insight into why Bernardo Silva is one of the finest dribblers he has gone toe-to-toe with.

“I have to go with either [Angel] Di Maria. What a player. Then, I have to say, Bernardo Silva. So good on the ball, one moment, you think you have him and one moment, he’s just gone again”, the Dane told ChrisMD on his YouTube channel.
Bernardo Silva should utilise his dribbling more than he does currently
Mads Bidstrup is right to have emphasised just how special a dribbler Bernardo Silva is.
For years, the Portuguese international has made life hell for defenders, be it from midfield or on the wing when he decides to ghost past the opposition with the ball for fun.
But often, the former AS Monaco maestro tends to be a lot more controlled in his approach, keeping possession and playing it safe.
For instance, during Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final last season, he struggled to have any impact due to this withdrawn approach.
But in the second leg, Bernardo Silva tortured Eduardo Camavinga with his quick feet and dynamism.
Considering this may very well be the versatile attacker’s standout trait, he should put it to use far more often than he does.
