Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to launch a €80m (£68m) bid to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.
That’s according to Marca, who say that the French giants are looking to take advantage of the attacker’s desire to leave Manchester.
New PSG manager Luis Enrique is a big admirer of Bernardo, and is looking to further refresh his squad after already bringing in Marco Asensio, Lucas Hernandez, Manuel Ugarte, Milan Skriniar, Kang-In Lee and Hugo Ekitike this summer.
PSG preparing Bernardo bid
According to Marca, Bernardo is open to leaving City this summer, as has been the case in previous transfer windows.
The report states that the Portuguese star’s “priority is not to continue at City”, and that PSG could move for the star who is valued at around €80m.
The 28-year-old has flirted with Barcelona in recent years, but it looks like the Spanish club will not be able to afford the City man this summer.

In terms of a sporting project, there is no club in the world that Bernardo would be happier at than City. After all, he played a key role in City winning the treble last season.
But while he is more than happy with his role in Pep Guardiola’s side, it’s thought that Bernardo’s openness to a move is more about lifestyle and family.
The skilful attacker has recently married and is expecting his first child later this year.
The relationship between PSG and Bernardo’s agent Jorge Mendes could prove key, as he has already facilitated the signing of Asensio and is reportedly negotiating a move for Joao Felix.
PSG appear the most likely suitor
In the words of Guardiola, Bernardo is irreplaceable.
It’s hard to imagine any player in the world bringing what he does to this City team, but after years of exit rumours, the time might have come to part ways.
Should PSG submit an offer in the region of Bernardo’s €80m valuation, then City might be tempted to cash-in on a player who has two-years remaining on his contract.
