Alex is a Manchester-based freelance football journalist who has supported Manchester City since he was a kid (before they were good). He previously reported on City for the Manchester Evening News and now writes for various publications. As a City fan he knows the club inside-out and understands the issues that matter to fans. Alex also has a keen interest in Spanish and Italian football, in particular SSC Napoli.
