Manchester City and the City Football Group in general have a track record when it comes to signing young players from across Europe and beyond.
One noticeable player is Savinho, who joined the Manchester club earlier in the current summer transfer window from Troyes who signed him back in 2022.
After scoring 11 goals and delivering 10 assists in 41 appearances for Girona last season, the 20-year-old winger will be part of Pep Guardiola’s squad at the Etihad Stadium for the upcoming season.
In fact, Guardiola said recently that the Brazilian is “devastating” in one-on-one situations.
Now though, the Citizens have made a move to add another young talent, currently making a name for himself abroad, to their ranks.

Man City send transfer offer for PSV teenager
According to a recent report from Dutch media outlet ED, City have sent a seven-figure offer to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Jason van Duiven.
The report also adds that while a subsequent move to City-owned Belgian club Lommel, the City Football Group see Van Duiven as a future superstar.
Van Duiven has shown his goalscoring ability at youth level
During his time at the Dutch club, the 19-year-old has made 83 combined appearances for PSV’s youth sides, scoring 49 goals and delivering 15 assists in total.
Hailed for his “flawless” efforts at youth level by U23 talent scout Antonio Mango on his X account, it’s easy to see why Van Duiven has caught City’s attention.
However, during a loan spell with Almere City in the second half of last season, the youngster failed to find the back of the net in 14 appearances.
Moving forward, if City do end up landing a deal to sign Van Duiven this summer, they will need to make sure they give him the best next step in his career so he can develop and improve his game sufficiently.
