Crystal Palace have so far received no offers for a player Manchester City are interested in.
This week City edged closer to completing their second signing of the transfer window when they agreed terms on a deal for Josko Gvardiol.
City will pay RB Leipzig £77.5m for the centre-back who will sign a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium.
The arrival of the Croatian international will take City’s summer spending up to £102.5m following the £25m signing of Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea.
That’s a decent outlay for a club that has just won the treble, but City aren’t necessarily done there.
Following the £30m sale of Riyad Mahrez to Al-Ahli, Pep Guardiola would like to add a right winger to his squad.
City do have existing options for the righthand side of their attack, including Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Cole Palmer.
However, Foden is expected to play more of a central role this season as he continues his development, while the futures of Bernardo and Palmer are uncertain amid interest from a number of clubs.
Palace yet to receive any bids
City have put together a shortlist of potential right-wing targets, and Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise is right at the top.
The 21-year-old joined Palace from Reading in 2021, and last season he caught the eye with plenty of exciting performances.

Olise provided 11 assists and scored two goals to help his side to an 11th-place finish last season, sparking speculation that he could leave Selhurst Park this summer.
Olise is understood to have a £35m release clause in his contract.
Chelsea are also weighing up a move for the French youth international, so City might have to act quickly to avoid missing out.
According to The Athletic though, Palace are yet to receive any bids for their star talent despite manager Roy Hodgson’s recent admission.
The Palace boss admitted that his side “have a fight on our hands to make sure he stays with us.”
