Manchester City have reportedly placed a £15 million asking price on one of their most experienced players ahead of next summer.
Fans are expecting the next summer window to be a very busy one.
2024 was fairly uneventful overall. But it could be that a number of Manchester City players will be moving on next year.
The likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson were both heavily linked with moves to Saudi Arabia and are expected to emerge as targets for the league once again.
But another player who looks like he could potentially leave is Kyle Walker.
Walker has come in for criticism this season for his performance levels, with Rico Lewis having seemingly leapfrogged him in the pecking order.
The England international hasn’t quite been as good as in recent seasons, and it looks as though the club could now be ready to move him on.
Man City to demand £15m for Kyle Walker with Al-Ahli interested

It has been reported by the Daily Star that City are now open to selling Walker next summer.
It’ it’s stated that Walker is not expected to extend his contract, which expires in the summer of 2026. No talks are planned.
Like his teammates De Bruyne and Ederson, Walker has also been a target for the Saudi Pro League in the past, and it is claimed Al-Ahli would be interested in signing the 34-year-old.
In the summer just gone, Al-Hilal showed interest in Walker, as well as Joao Cancelo who they did actually end up signing.
Apparently Walker could earn around £400,000 per week with them, which would be a significant increase on his current salary at City.
City, of course, have done business with Al-Ahli before.
In the summer of 2023, the club sold Riyad Mahrez to them for a fee of around £30 million.
Walker to Al-Ahli one to watch
So Walker is again a target for the Saudi Pro League – and it is a move that few would bet against happening.
Walker has had interest from Bayern Munich before, but his form has dipped recently so it remains to be seen if they come in for him again. A move to the German giants would surely appeal to him.
We saw him really struggle against Fulham, with Chris Sutton saying Walker got ‘exposed’ against the Cottagers.
Kyle Walker for Man City
Appearances – 308
Goals – 6
Assists – 23
Trophies won – 17
But Walker is surely likely to make a move to Saudi next summer.
Lewis is now really starting to blossom for City and the youngster has been keeping him out of the team at times this season. Pep Guardiola also has Manuel Akanji as an option to play on the right.
But Walker – described as ‘unbelievable’ by Marc Guehi – to Al-Ahli could well on the cards.
He linked up really well with Mahrez on the right side for years at City and the idea of a reunion may well appeal.
