Harry Redknapp has revealed whether Jude Bellingham has chosen Manchester City or Real Madrid as his next transfer destination.

Just two weeks ago, a revelation claimed that there was ‘quiet confidence’ within the Sky Blues camp that they had wrapped up a deal to sign the 19-year-old.

However, Harry Redknapp seems to have heard from a credible name whether Jude Bellingham has decided to join Manchester City or Real Madrid next season.

Manchester City or Real Madrid: Harry Redknapp tells all about the big Jude Bellingham decision

Jurgen Klopp suggested publicly, as quoted by GOAL that Liverpool had pulled out of the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

With Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti’s sides touted as the other two elite clubs in Europe that could sign the wonderkid, the question mark remains over his ultimate choice.

However, Harry Redknapp has said that he has heard that Jude Bellingham has opted to join Real Madrid instead of Manchester City.

“I heard from a source very, very close to Jude Bellingham that he wants to go to Real Madrid”, he said on the Beyond The Pitch podcast.

Should City be devastated about the potential reality about this revelation?

MCN View: Manchester City’s recruits should never be doubted in the transfer market

Like every recruitment team, the ones at City have also made mistakes that have been covered by Pep Guardiola’s tactical genius.

Or like the failure to replace Vincent Kompany during the summer of 2019, it did once lead to a disappointing campaign.

However, if Harry Redknapp is right and Jude Bellingham is in fact Real Madrid-bound, Manchester City seemingly always have an alternative in mind that can do the business.

When moves for Kalidou Koulibaly and Jules Kounde famously collapsed in 2020, Ruben Dias was brought in and as they say, the rest is history.

Similarly, City took their time after Harry Kane ended up staying at Tottenham and decided to sign Erling Haaland a season later.

Txiki Begiristain and his colleagues are one of, if not the best in the business and that should allay any worries.
