Manchester City winger Cole Palmer is a target for RB Leipzig this summer.
The 21-year-old has just finished another season at City where he did not play a huge part.
Palmer made 25 appearances across all competitions, for a total of just 851 minutes of the pitch.
He recently got some opportunities in the Premier League once the title had been wrapped up.
It has been difficult for Palmer as a young player with a number of top players ahead of him. Guardiola has had Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden all at his disposal.
Palmer can also play centrally. But of course, Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne have played the bulk of the games as the number 8s.
It was reported yesterday that Palmer could be loaned out.
And now, there is word about a potential next destination.
Cole Palmer wanted by RB Leipzig as Manchester City consider loan
According to The Athletic, Palmer will be allowed out on loan next season.
And Bundesliga side RB Leipzig want to sign him.

Palmer would be open to that particular move. He knows that the Bundesliga has really help other young English players to develop like Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho.
Leipzig were interested in Palmer in January, and last summer.
This could very well now be his next destination. City are surely keen to get Palmer to a club that really want him and it looks like Leipzig have held an interest for quite a while now.
Cole Palmer loan move would be the correct decision by Man City, as RB Leipzig eye swoop
Palmer needs to be playing and a loan move for next season would be the right call.
Just at the moment, Palmer isn’t at a level where he’s going to threaten the other wingers for their minutes.
He’s clearly a very bright young player with a lot of potential. Indeed, Pep Guardiola has said previously that he’s a player with ‘special quality’.

But it just feels with him that he needs a loan move to really get his development going.
He’ll have learned a heck of a lot being surrounded by so many world-class players at City. But he needs opportunities to play. And Leipzig would be a very good move for him.
