However, even for a striker of the two-time Premier League winner’s ilk, it would be outrageous if he scored three successive hat-tricks.
But Haaland could certainly come close, especially with City also being bang in form as a side and playing at home against Brentford.
It will be interesting to witness if the prolific goalscorer could surpass Rooney in this regard.
