Gianluigi Donnarumma has finally sealed a move to Manchester City.
PSG always expected Donnarumma to join Manchester City and the Sky Blues have managed to sign one of the best goalkeepers in world football.
However, there could be both positives and negatives from the Italian international’s move to City.
Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli rates Donnarumma highly, having played alongside him for Italy.
However, there could be two winners and losers apiece due to the addition of the treble-winner.

Matheus Nunes
Matheus Nunes is a player who may be over the moon about Gianluigi Donnarumma’s arrival, as the latter could save his blushes if he makes the odd mistake in his unnatural position at right-back; considering the former PSG number one is a top-class shotstopper.
Last season, Luis Enrique’s defence was often breached but as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia claimed, Donnarumma is a “great goalkeeper” when it comes to shotstopping.
As a result, Nunes can afford to switch off at times even though that would be far from ideal for Pep Guardiola.
Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland liked Donnarumma’s post on Instagram where the goalkeeper confirmed he was leaving PSG.
Haaland raved about Donnarumma last season after he starred against Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final last season.

The Norwegian may be delighted about the fact that an elite player has joined Manchester City.

James Trafford
James Trafford is perhaps the only player who would perhaps justifiably be upset about Donnarumma’s move to Manchester City.
Trafford rejected Newcastle United in favour of a return to City but considering his side have brought in a world-class goalkeeper, the Englishman may fear losing out on the number one spot to the 26-year-old.
With the Englishman arguably being the Sky Blues’ best player in their 2-1 defeat against Brighton, he may feel aggrieved about Donnarumma’s £30 million move to Manchester City.
However, Trafford dreamt of becoming Manchester City’s number one and he will have to up for the fight to cement his status as Pep Guardiola’s go-to man in between the sticks.
Rodri
From Rodri’s perspective, he may have more responsibility than ever when Manchester City try to play out from the back as Donnarumma has never been renowned for being a ball-playing goalkeeper.
Against Brighton, the Spaniard was often operating as a de-facto centre-back and even occupied the left-back position to help City progress play.
Vitinha had a similar role at PSG last season and while Rodri is an exceptional passer and incredibly press resistant, the midfielder could have a tall task on his hands after starting one Premier League game since returning from his ACL injury.
