It seems easier said than done for Manchester City to simply offload some of their players at the drop of a hat this summer.

None of Manchester City’s players wish to leave, which makes it difficult for Pep Guardiola to move on those he reckons are surplus to requirements.

Regardless of that being the case, a whole host of City stars have been linked with moves elsewhere.

James McAtee intends to stay in England as he could be set to leave his boyhood club this summer.

Galatasaray manager expects Ilkay Gundogan to stay at Man City

Manchester City News exclusively revealed that Ilkay Gundogan would fancy a move to Galatasaray if he left Manchester City.

Galatasaray are interested in signing Manuel Akanji as well.

Despite Gundogan agreeing personal terms with Galatasaray, manager Okan Buruk has told Sky Germany that he expects the six-time Premier League winner to stay at Manchester City.

He still has a year left on his contract in Manchester. I also think I know he’ll fulfill it there. We like Ilkay Gundogan and we also know he likes Galatasaray very much.”

Gundogan, who Jack Grealish called “special” is contracted to Manchester City until 2026, Pep Guardiola will have to determine whether to keep him or let the midfielder sign for Galatasaray despite Okan Buruk’s admission.

However, the German has hinted that his desire is to stay at City.
