Manchester City have certainly reacted well to a poor 2024/25 season, going about their squad rebuild in impressive fashion.
Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Marcus Bettinelli have all joined this summer in time for the Club World Cup.
Manchester City also signed a number of top talents in January, with the likes of Abdukodir Khusanov, Omar Marmoush and Nico Gonzalez all arriving.
Now, the club has made an announcement that fans have welcomed, with one saying it’s “bigger than any signing”.

Manchester City fans happy about matchday ticket prices for next season
On Friday, City announced that they will be reducing matchday ticket prices by up to 43 per cent for the 2025/26 season.
The move comes on the back of a freeze in season ticket prices, with the club eager to not price fans out of their football club.
“Well done for listening to the fans,” one supporter said on X. “It’s a good step in the right direction.
“There hasn’t been a good enough line of communication between fans – particularly the loyal ones – and the club management over the last years which has seen match day experience deteriorate.”
Another supporter said: “This club is headed is the right direction in ALL departments. Thanks to our chairman Khaldoon.”
The praise kept coming, with one fan saying: “Genuinely fantastic news, will help fill additional capacity and will make it more affordable for families to attend!”
Another wrote: “Lovely gesture, more accessible matches are win win for everyone.”
Another said: “Outstanding work MCFC. I’ll take that.
“£72 was pushing it but the games were good last season and ultimately worth it… If we’re winning.
“However, if we’re pricing people out then the reduction is most welcome.
“Can we have meat and tatter pies back please.”
