Even so, City supporters online are expecting Liverpool to defeat their side and further extend the gap between both teams to 11 points on Sunday.

Another City fans simply said: “We are getting demolished by Liverpool on Sunday.”
A Sky Blues fan expects Liverpool to win 6-0, writing: “It’s going to be a blood bath on Sunday, 6-0 Liverpool, five goals in the first half.”

Kyle Walker revealed Pep Guardiola’s plan in terms of preparing his Manchester City side ahead of their trip to Liverpool will remain unchanged.
“Listen, I will say this now and I’m not lying, Pep [Guardiola] prepares for every game the same.”
However, Walker disclosed that the mood inside the City dressing room is one where the players are aware of the fact that the game is a potential do-or-die contest in the context of the title race.
