Manchester City were back at their unstoppable best as they hammered Newcastle United 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Omar Marmoush opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a lob over Martin Dubravka after Kieran Trippier misjudged the bounce of the ball over the top.
Marmoush added a second just five minutes later, latching on to Ilkay Gundogan’s pinpoint pass before dragging the ball inside and drilling home at the near post.
The January summer signing them wrapped up an emphatic first-half hat-trick when he swept home his third following superb work from Savinho.
Manchester City added a fourth six minutes from time, substitute James McAtee sweeping home from close range after Erling Haaland flicked the ball on.
While Marmoush took home the match ball, City fans were also eager to sing the praises of another “superstar in the making” in their ranks.

Manchester City fans stunned by Savinho against Newcastle
The player in question is Savinho, who dazzled on the day, set Marmoush up for his hat-trick, and gave Lewis Hall a torrid time throughout.
One Man City supporter wrote on X:” Savinho is ridiculously good! A true superstar in the making!”
Another fan said: “Nicolas Gonzalez was absolutely brilliant, Marmoush executed the poacher role perfectly, Khusanov looks like he has a bit of everything to be a top class defender and Savinho a superstar in the making.”
The praise kept coming, with one fan writing: “Savinho is some boy, superstar in the making, especially if he can improve his shooting.”
