Manchester City have a huge Premier League game coming up next week as they host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.
The Citizens are now looking to finish in the Premier League’s top four and they’ll need to get back on track quickly as they’re currently fifth in the table.
Manchester City are next up against a Newcastle United side boasting the in-form Alexander Isak, after which they’ll head to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Then comes the Liverpool game, where there’s a chance they’ll be without manager Arne Slot due to his red card against Everton in midweek.
As it stands, Slot is expected to be on the touchline against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

However, there is a risk that the Dutchman could be forced to watch his side’s trip to the Etihad Stadium on February 23 from the stands.
If Slot is not charged until Monday next week, a two-match touchline ban would then be in place for the matches against Aston Villa and City.
Journalist Miguel Delaney has shared what he’s now heard about the “incredible” coach’s disciplinary situation and gave his thoughts on the matter.

Miguel Delaney expects Arne Slot to be suspended against Manchester City
Speaking on the Sky Sports Back Pages Podcast, Delaney says he believes that, by the sounds of it, Slot is going to receive a two-game touchline ban.
“I mean, from all the noises so far, it does feel like a two-game ban is inevitable,” he said. “The one thing is a potential review could go on for some time.
“And that’s going to be all the more interesting because it’s Johnny’s reference there just to see what was actually said because that is what will come out in these sort of reviews.
“I mean, it’s interesting with Slot because he’s one of the stories of Liverpool’s season has actually been out.
“No matter the controversy, no matter the kind of energy, he’s very good at kind of taking the sting out of it, keeping composed and then ensuring the team gets on with its business.
“Obviously, in this case, they lost the last of an equaliser and it was a rare moment where Slot, not quite letting his guard down, but I supposed got involved.
“Now, I was watching some of the footage, which makes it all the more conspicuous because I was trying to see what was said, what he did.
“And it’s interesting that he doesn’t seem to say much before Oliver pulls out the card to the shock of Virgil van Dijk.
“I mean, look, it could come out tomorrow, I think, which would mean if he’s found guilty, he potentially misses the Wolves game.
“But I think the likelihood is right now that at least rumbles into next week. And he potentially will say he’s not on the bench for the City game.”
