As Manchester City gear themselves to face Wolves at the Molineux Stadium, we have tried to call their predicted lineup for the clash.
Coming off the back of their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup, we expect Pep Guardiola to make as many as seven changes to his side for Saturday’s contest.
Manchester City predicted lineup vs Wolves
In goal, Stefan Ortega is set to return to the bench with Ederson Moraes starting in our Manchester City predicted lineup against Wolves.
At right-back, the same is expected with Rico Lewis looking likely to make way for the in-form Kyle Walker.
Despite Manuel Akanji’s terrific display against Newcastle, Ruben Dias looks set to return to the fold on Saturday.
Considering Josko Gvardiol’s performance against the Magpies was rightly branded as ‘flawless’ by Steph Houghton (via City’s official YouTube channel), he could keep his place as a left-sided centre-back in our Manchester City predicted lineup.
At left-back, Nathan Ake could also start once again up against Gary O’Neil’s side.
With Rodri set to be suspended until the treble-winners’ blockbuster showdown against Arsenal, Matheus Nunes could replace Kalvin Phillips as his side’s makeshift defensive midfielder.
Mateo Kovacic, who looked ace upon his return from injury looks likely to retain his place in the side.
At right-wing, Sergio Gomez also looks set to lose his place to Phil Foden against Wolves.
On the left flank, Jeremy Doku, who looked electric in his cameo against Newcastle could come in for Jack Grealish.
Julian Alvarez is likely to start once again but behind the striker this time around.

Last but not least, Erling Haaland, branded as an ‘amazing guy’ by Ilkay Gundogan is set to return to the starting XI, with Oscar Bobb being benched.
