Manchester City are back in form and will be confident of beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Manchester derby will kick off at 3:30 pm UK time on Sunday.
Although Manchester United are the home team, I believe that Manchester City are the favourites.
After all, Pep Guardiola’s side have been more convincing in recent games and also have the better team.
Some pundits are predicting City to just hammer United at Old Trafford.
There is some positive news for United, though.
Casemiro could be back for Manchester United vs Manchester City
According to United’s official website, Brazilian midfielder Casemiro could be back for the Manchester derby.
Casemiro is one of the best and most important players in United manager Erik ten Hag’s team.
The £350,000-a-week (Spotrac) former Real Madrid star plays when he is fit and available.
As reported by United’s official website, Casemiro did not play against Sheffield United due to an injury he picked up on international duty with Brazil.

The midfielder returned to training for United thereafter in the build-up to the UEFA Champions League match against FC Copenhagen in midweek.
Casemiro did not play against FC Copenhagen due to suspension.
The report has noted that “Manchester United will hope to welcome Casemiro back into the squad for Sunday’s Manchester derby against City”.
My View: Manchester City need not fear Manchester United midfielder Casemiro
In my opinion, Manchester City need not worry about the prospect of Casemiro playing for Manchester United in the Manchester derby.
Of course, United are a better team with Casemiro in it, but the former Real Madrid star is not the player he once was.
During his time at Madrid, Casemiro was arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world.

At United, the 31-year-old is on the decline.
Casemiro does not seem to be the force he once was.
Opposition players can get past him now.
Yes, City should show Casemiro due respect, but there is no need for the defending Premier League champions to make a special plan for the Brazil international defensive midfielder.
Casemiro has made 36 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The midfielder has scored five goals and given three assists in those games.
