One of the many world-class players that Manchester City have on their books is Erling Haaland, and it seems that Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard is a big fan.
Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland are Norway international teammates.
Norway will take on Spain in a Euro 2024 qualifier on Sunday.
Both Odegaard and Haaland are expected to start.
Haaland has not been at his best in recent matches for Manchester City, but the £51 million (Sky Sports) striker returned to form on Thursday after scoring two goals for Norway against Cyprus.
Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard on Manchester City striker Erling Haaland
Odegaard, a former Real Madrid player, has raved about Haaland ahead of the match between Norway and Spain.
France 24 quotes Odegaard as saying: “It’s true that Haaland is the best in the world, but there are more (players).
“We know what Haaland is, but everyone has a lot to offer – we play as a team.”
My View: Erling Haaland is a world-class player
In my opinion, Manchester City and Norway international striker Erling Haaland is a world-class player.
Haaland is one of the most lethal players in the world.

While the striker is not always involved in matches like Paris Saint-Germain and France international forward Kylian Mbappe, he is at his best in and around the penalty box.
Haaland is very clinical and does not need too many touches of the ball to score.
The Norway international striker has made 43 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The 23-year-old has scored 44 goals and given nine assists in those games.
For City to be successful this season, Haaland will have to be on top of his game throughout the campaign.
