Jesse Marsch, who managed Erling Haaland at RB Salzburg has tipped him for a move to Real Madrid from Manchester City.

It was claimed earlier this month that the Norwegian superstar is keen a move to Los Blancos. The 23-year-old is believed to enjoy his time in Spain, as he often travels there during his time off to visit his property in Marbella.

However, a report had mentioned that despite the rumours surrounding Erling Haaland heading to Real Madrid, Manchester City are assured that they would keep hold of their star striker.

In November, Gary Neville emphasised that global phenomenons like the treble-winner tend to either sign for Real Madrid or Barcelona. However, the £51 million (Sky Sports) man had famously decided to snub all interest from several European clubs to make his way to the Etihad Stadium in 2022.

But Jesse Marsch, who worked with Erling Haaland during his time as RB Salzburg boss believes he will sign for Real Madrid in the future.

“And by the way, I don’t think anyone did that better than Alfie Haaland and Erling Haaland with what they did when they went from Molde to [RB] Salzburg to [Borussia] Dortmund and to Man City and maybe next, who knows?”, Marsch said on CBS Sports’ Call It What You Want podcast.

Charlie Davies said, “Real Madrid.”

Jesse Marsch replied, “Maybe.”

Jimmy Conrad added, “Yeah, there’s only one other…I don’t know where you go from Man City.”

Jesse Marsch said, “Yeah, you probably go to Real Madrid.”

It seems like Jesse Marsch, much like the rest of the world is simply assuming that Erling Haaland would sign for Real Madrid one day rather than having any actual inside information about his future.

Currently, there seems to be no indication that Haaland is considering a move to the Spanish giants or elsewhere apart from being fully focused on continuing to succeed at City.
