Whether Bernardo intends to prolong his love affair with Manchester City or join another superclub, his sights should be set on making his mark on Europe.
Playing in Saudi Arabia is a sign of a player basically taking early retirement and giving up on their dreams for greatness, which a multifaceted stalwart of his calibre certainly should avoid doing.
