It has been reported that Kevin De Bruyne is “open” to evaluating a potential transfer to the Saudi Pro League after June.
This revelation about the Manchester City maestro’s future has been made by journalist Rudy Galetti.
After the season comes to an end, Kevin De Bruyne would only have one year left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

It was claimed in August last year that the Saudi Pro League had targeted the arrival of the £54 million (talkSPORT) man in 2024.
The league managed to sign two former Sky Blues stalwarts in Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte in the summer of 2023, who ply their trades for Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr respectively.
But now, it has been revealed that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which has a 75% stake in teams like Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr, as reported by Forbes has contacted the 32-year-old once again, as they view him as their “main target” in the transfer market next season.
Furthermore, Kevin De Bruyne is believed to be “open” to taking a look at the details that would involve a potential move to the Saudi Pro League after June.
The decision the Manchester City talisman takes could depend on how he returns from injury
In December, the treble-winner confirmed his return to first-team training for City after a lengthy injury has kept him out of action this season.
While one remains unaware of whether Kevin De Bruyne would ultimately decide to join one of the Saudi Arabian giants in the summer, in our view, his decision may well depend on how he feels after returning from his injury.
If De Bruyne eventually returns to his brilliant best this season, one could see him decide to stay put at Manchester City.
But if the injury has a long-lasting impact on Kevin De Bruyne’s playing style, perhaps he could well consider an exit from European football.
It is important to clarify that so far, it seems like the five-time Premier League winner has yet to decide where his future lies.
