Manchester City have another Premier League game ahead of them this weekend.
Following on from their 2-1 win over Wolves last weekend and their Champions League thrashing of Sparta Prague, City will be taking on Southampton at the Etihad Stadium for their latest Premier League clash on Saturday.
Despite being the only top-flight side to still be unbeaten at this stage of the campaign, City have a lot of injury problems at the moment.
In fact, Pep Guardiola has now shared an update concerning one of the key players from City’s squad who has been out of action for a while.

Pep Guardiola addresses potential Kevin De Bruyne return date
In his latest press conference ahead of the Southampton game, Guardiola was asked if he knows when Kevin De Bruyne is likely to be back fit again.
He said: “I don’t know. Of course, I prefer to have all the squad with this amount of games. But it is what it is. Hopefully he comes back soon. I don’t know yet, I would like to tell you, but I don’t know.”
Who else do City have out injured?
Prior to the Sparta game, Guardiola revealed that Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku picked up injuries after the win at Wolves.
The City boss claimed that Grealish could be out for seven to 10 days, whereas the Belgian will be a longer wait (via Manchester Evening News).
As well as the long-term injuries to Rodri and Oscar Bobb, City captain Kyle Walker is also out of action since returning from international duty earlier this month.
Focusing back on De Bruyne, he suffered a muscle injury during the Blues’ 0-0 draw against Inter Milan in the Champions League back in September.
Even though the midfielder has been training over the past few days, the fact that Guardiola doesn’t know when the 33-year-old could return is very worrying.

With City having a wide range of matches to play in all competitions over the next few weeks, it will be in everyone’s best interest to get as many players back fit.
Moving forward, starting with Southampton, the Citizens will just have to get through one game at a time hoping they continue their unbeaten streak and avoid any extra injury or suspension issues.
