Manchester City are back in action following another international break away from domestic football.
After securing a 3-2 victory over Fulham at the Etihad Stadium in their previous outing before the break, City will be travelling to the Midlands to take on Wolves this time around on Sunday.
As is the usual case, several figures from City’s first-team squad have been in action over the past week on international duty for the latest round of Nations League matches.
Looking ahead to the weekend’s clash at Molineux, one particular name in the City squad has very much earned himself a place in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI for this game.

Guardiola must start Jack Grealish in Man City vs Wolves
After starting and completing 62 minutes against Fulham before being replaced by Jeremy Doku, who scored City’s third goal of the game, Jack Grealish went on to star in England’s recent 3-1 win over Finland.
In addition to scoring the Three Lions’ first goal, the winger made three key passes in total despite only misplacing two of the 58 passes he attempted.
Then from a defensive point of view, the £300k-a-week City star made two tackles and won four of the six duels he was involved in.
This display ultimately earned the winger a solid match rating of 8/10 from SofaScore, making him the joint-highest-rated England player on the day alongside fellow goalscorer Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Grealish could be vital against Wolves
Looking back to the Fulham game, Paul Merson said that he likes Grealish more than Doku because of how hard he works for the team.
With City having lost their last game at Molineux, this upcoming game could be a match where Grealish’s work ethic could be vital for the Blues.
As well as that, Troy Deeney claimed that Grealish is “one of the best players in world football” when he’s in top form.
Taking all of that on board, it shouldn’t be too hard a decision for Guardiola to make about putting Grealish in the City starting XI on Sunday.
