Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden is now a very experienced Premier League player.
Having made his senior debut for Pep Guardiola’s side back in the 2017/18 season, the Englishman is now in the early stages of his eighth top-flight season as a regular figure in City’s senior ranks.
During his time in the Premier League, the 24-year-old has played with and against a wide range of top-level players.
In fact, Foden has now shared some big praise for one fellow top-flight star he knows what it’s like to have as an opponent and a teammate.

Phil Foden praises Trent Alexander-Arnold’s passing ability
Appearing in a recent video shared on the England national team’s YouTube channel, Foden was tasked with ranking some of his Three Lions teammates based on how good they are at playing two-touch.
When Trent Alexander-Arnold’s name came up, Foden had this to say about the Liverpool defender and his ability with the ball.
He said: “Difficult to rank him because I don’t see him get involved in two-touch quite a lot but yeah the way he controls a ball and his passing range is exceptional.”
Alexander-Arnold is a pass master
Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only England teammate the City star has praised for his ability on the ball recently as Foden shared his admiration for Eberechi Eze and what he’s capable of producing on the pitch.
With 28 Premier League games under his belt last season, Alexander-Arnold ended the previous campaign with more crosses into the penalty area (18) than any other Liverpool player.
He also racked up the second-highest number of key passes (64) at the Merseyside club, there’s no denying that the Englishman’s range of passing makes him a dangerous player for his side.
This makes it easy to see why Foden was so complimentary about the Liverpool defender’s passing ability.
