Phil Foden has played with and against a wide range of top-level players throughout his senior career at Manchester City.
Since making his first-team debut for Pep Guardiola’s side back in 2017, the Englishman has gone on to make 271 appearances for City across all competitions, scoring 87 goals and delivering 53 assists in the process.
Having shared the pitch with a significant number of top players as teammates and opponents for club and country, the 24-year-old has shared his thoughts on one player he has faced off against and played with in recent years who has recently been linked with a transfer move to the Etihad Stadium.

Phil Foden raves over ‘unbelievable’ Eberechi Eze
In a recent video shared on the England national team’s YouTube channel, Foden had this to say about Eberechi Eze and the talent he has.
He said: “I just think he’s unbelievable the way he controls the ball it’s everything about him the way he moves on it and someone I rate really highly.”
Eze has proved himself to be a special player
Earlier this summer, it was reported by The Mirror that are considering a transfer move for the Crystal Palace midfielder, although his release clause has since expired.
In 125 games for Palace, the 26-year-old has scored 26 goals and delivered 17 assists across all competitions.
In his previous Premier League season, Eze ended the campaign with the highest total of shot-creating actions (110) in the Palace squad.
Back in July, Eze said that he is a big fan of Foden and enjoys playing alongside him, which has happened on six occasions for the senior England team.
Now that Foden has shared his admiration for the Palace star, it’ll be interesting to see if the duo ever end up playing together at City in the future.
