Gabby Agbonlahor says Kyle Walker is playing some of the best football of his career
Branded as an ‘elite performer’ by The Athletic, Don Hutchison recently claimed that the 33-year-old will go down as the greatest right-back in Premier League history.
The Englishman has been deployed as a right winger in possession this season, where the more attacking side of his game has well and truly come to the fore to City’s benefit.
Now, Gabby Agbonlahor has briefly showered Manchester City defender Kyle Walker with praise.

“Kyle Walker’s playing some of his best stuff”, he simply said.
An underappreciated Kyle Walker trait is how much he has reinvented himself
Gabby Agbonlahor is right to have shed a light on Kyle Walker and his brilliant performances in a more advanced role this season.
While the likes of Rodri and Julian Alvarez have stolen the headlines for Manchester City this campaign, the five-time Premier League winner also deserves credit for how much he has reinvented himself once again.
After joining City in 2017, Pep Guardiola utilised the former Tottenham right-back in a much more reserved role in which he was tasked to invert in possession.
Considering the England international was the best attacking full-back in the league at Spurs, this was a significant change in his role.
Later down the line, Walker was also tasked to operate on the right of a back three as a central defender in some ways.
Once again, Kyle Walker did not miss a beat.
Now, the decorated right-back has been tested once again and he has risen to the occasion, which often does not get the attention it deserves.
