Hull City manager Liam Rosenior has now confirmed that Manchester City loanee Liam Delap has suffered a serious injury.
The 39-year-old’s comments were presented by Hull Live.
So, what is the situation involving Manchester City loanee Liam Delap? Let’s take a look…
Liam Delap suffers injury
Well, the England U21 international was enjoying himself on loan at the MKM Stadium, scoring seven goals in 26 Championship appearances.
Hull City fans were delighted with what Delap was producing – one supporter even claimed that he could be England’s replacement for Harry Kane in future.
Now – however – the son of Rory Delap has suffered a setback.
Hull Live quote Rosenior as saying: “He’s looking at hopefully two to three months minimum and it’s a real shame for him, for us and for everybody connected with the football club because he’s been such a bright spot. It’s an issue in his knee, but hopefully it can be fixed without surgery and that’s what we’re hoping for.”

The 20-year-old will return to the Etihad Campus to use Manchester City’s state of the art facilities to help him in his rehabilitation, while also spending some time doing sessions in Hull too.
Rosenior added: “It will be between us and Manchester City. Obviously, Manchester City have outstanding facilities and outstanding people.”
Hopefully, Delap does not suffer any setbacks during his recovery, and he can get back to causing havoc in attack for the Tigers this season.
Manchester City one of the best environments for Delap
This is a real shame for Delap, although he can take comfort from the fact Manchester City boast some of the best facilities on the planet, which will surely prove to be a huge boost for the Winchester-born striker in his recovery.

Everyone here at Manchester City News wishes Delap well in his recovery, and hopes to see him back on the pitch as soon as possible.
