It has been reported Brighton & Hove Albion are interested in signing Manchester City wonderkid Taylor Harwood-Bellis on a permanent basis.
This comes from TEAMtalk, as the 21-year-old’s season-long loan spell at Vincent Kompany’s Burnley has come to an end.
Now, Brighton & Hove Albion aim to pounce at the chance of getting a transfer over the line for Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
Brighton keen on transfer for Manchester City starlet Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Branded as ‘exceptional’ by Pep Guardiola via Fot Mob, the Englishman could be on his way out of the Etihad Stadium this summer, with a report claiming last week that City are demanding a £15 million fee to sell him.
Starting 31 out of 46 games for Burnley’s Championship-winning side last season, Harwood-Bellis was at the heart of the best defence in the league, responsible for shipping a mere 35 goals in 46 games.
Now, Brighton, alongside other Premier League clubs like Fulham, Wolves and Everton are believed to be plotting a move for Manchester City centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Championship side Leicester City are also keen on the youngster’s signature but it has been clarified that the treble-winners would ideally like to send him out on loan once again.
Manchester City should sell the highly-rated defender
As naturally gifted as Taylor Harwood-Bellis, it would be best for all parties involved if Manchester City sold him to Brighton, or any other interested club in the mix.
With Josko Gvardiol looking like an imminent incoming at the club, there is no space in the Sky Blues’ first-team for the academy graduate.
As a result, from a Manchester City perspective, it would be perhaps be in their best interest to instead move Harwood-Bellis on and bank a significant fee.
For the player himself, a permanent move elsewhere from his boyhood club would also cement his plans for the future, as he intends to establish himself as a centre-half ready to finally play in the Premier League.
