It has been reported that Michael Olise could opt for a transfer to Chelsea instead of Manchester City as his brother plays for the former.
The 21-year-old, who has a release clause worth £35 million was claimed to be shortlisted by the treble-winners as a transfer target, as per a revelation from Fabrizio Romano on Sunday.
But according to 90 Min, Chelsea may now have an advantage over Manchester City in the race to sign Michael Olise, as the player’s own brother is on the West London side’s books.

While one can understand why Manchester City have set their sights on signing Michael Olise, Chelsea are believed to the ‘most confident’ about getting a deal over the line for him.

Of course, Manchester City may find it hard to compete with Chelsea in the race to sign Michael Olise, as his own brother plays for the latter.
However, City should not be too upset about their prospects of signing the silky wide forward as well, considering they have just come off the back of winning the treble and have lifted five out of the last six Premier League titles.
At the end of the day, the Olise family as a whole would logically like nothing more than Michael taking the step that his best for his career.
