Now, Rio Ferdinand has gained insight into Omar Berrada, who used to be the chief football operations officer at City Football Group, which he disclosed on FIVE’s official YouTube channel.

It was claimed on Sunday that those within the Sky Blues camp were “sad” to see Berrada leave his duties.
However, it was revealed on Monday that he was aware that there was a possibility that Ferran Soriano, who has no intention to leave his post as Manchester City’s CEO could be succeeded by Roel de Vries in the future.
Rio Ferdinand has given a brief insight into what he has been told by people at Manchester City about the departure of Omar Berrada and how they expect him to fare at Manchester United.

“Just before he [Stephen Howson] starts, I spoke to some guys who are at City and they can’t believe we’ve [Manchester United] got him”, he told FIVE.
“They think that wow, he’s done so much in the game at different levels and he’s been successful and it’s a really good, sharp signing for us.”
