Joao Cancelo remains a Manchester City player, but a report has now shared how much Barcelona are willing to pay to take the player on loan again.
Cancelo is currently on vacation after playing for Portugal at Euro 2024.
It remains to be seen if he will join up with the squad in the US for pre-season, amid speculation about his future.
It was reported earlier this month that Pep did not particularly want him around the group for pre-season.
Barcelona are known to want to take him back after having him on loan last season, but they cannot afford to buy him permanently.
But they are seeing about another loan move, and a report has now shared how much they are willing to offer City.
Barcelona back in for Joao Cancelo and ready to offer Man City £7m loan fee

It has been reported by The Sun (28/07, pg. 57) that Barcelona have made a return bid for Cancelo.
Apparently, the club are willing to pay City a £7 million loan fee to take the player for the 2024/25 season. They would also offer to cover all of his £160,000 per week wages.
It is stated that City would prefer to sell. But Barca insist that they can only afford to loan the player this summer.
This could end up forcing City’s hand as there are apparently no other offers on the table at the moment.
It had been reported recently that City were hoping that a Saudi club might be able to tempt Cancelo with an offer.
The player is focused on sealing a return to Barca, but City were hoping that a Saudi club might be able to divert his gaze with their riches.
A far from ideal situation

So Barca would apparently be willing to offer a £7 million loan fee for Cancelo. As loan fees go, that is actually quite high.
But City clearly want to move the player on, so it is still not completely ideal.
The club need to see if they can negotiate some kind of obligation-to-buy clause with Barcelona for Cancelo.
We will see if that comes to fruition, but certainly, the situation is a frustrating one for the club, mainly due to Cancelo’s laser focus on a move back to Barca.
