Manchester City are set to make an offer to Ederson to keep him at the club, amid interest from Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.
Ederson has been the subject of speculation for several weeks now, and there is a growing feeling that he will bring his seven-year spell at the club to an end.
The Brazilian stopper signed for City for £35 million in the summer of 2017, and replaced Claudio Bravo as the number two at the Etihad Stadium.
Ederson has been a wonderful signing.
He has helped City dominate in recent years, and is credited with helping Pep Guardiola‘s side become arguably the best team in the world at playing out from the back.
His time could be could be coming to an end, but one report suggests City are ready to make one final attempt to keep him.
Manchester City ready to offer to increase Ederson wages by 75% amid Saudi interest

Ederson has reportedly already given Saudi club Al-Nassr the green light.
It is now just about whether City and Al-Nassr can agree a deal for the player’s transfer.
The Sun are suggesting the club are set to make a ‘take-it-or-leave-offer, which would see Ederson increase his wages by 75%.
Supposedly, the club would be looking to pay him around £1 million per month, which works out at around £250,000 per week.
This would bring him more in line with the top earners at City.
But this £1 million per month offer would still be far less money than he would earn in Saudi. Apparently, Al-Nassr are ready to pay him £900,000 per week. They would also pay him a signing-on bonus.
It really is eye-watering money and it is no surprise Ederson is open to the move.
Ederson could leave this week
It was reported earlier this week that Al-Nassr were hoping to land Ederson ‘within a week’, but there still hasn’t been an agreement with City.
Ederson recently finished up at the Copa America and one would imagine there will be movement on this story soon. That said, the player – described by City youngster Jack Wint as ‘phenomenal’ – may well be on vacation at the moment.
The Sun say City are hoping to sell for around £50 million.
But it could be hard for the club to bring in this much for Ederson, especially if there isn’t interest from any other clubs.
The player has just two years left on his contract, so City may feel it is time to cash in – especially if he’s ready to go.
