Manchester City travel to Tottenham for a significant Premier League clash on Wednesday evening.
Pep Guardiola needs to spark his Manchester City side back into form after a run of four defeats in the last six outings across all competitions, with a place in the UEFA Champions League next season on the line.

Tottenham previously did not pose much of a threat to the Citizens – having slipped as low as 14th in the table amidst a severe injury crisis – but Ange Postecoglou is starting to rebuild some momentum with three Premier League wins in a row.
As Spurs prepare to host Manchester City, it is worth taking a look at the Tottenham trio Tim Sherwood said could play for the Citizens back in November.
Tim Sherwood said James Maddison and Heung-min Son could play for Manchester City along with Dejan Kulusevski
Speaking on The Weekend Wrap after Tottenham beat Manchester City 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium back in November, Sherwood said: “He (Kulusevski) must be one of the fittest players in the squad. That boy could play for Man City, and so could Son, and that says a lot. Probably Maddison could get in their squad as well, you don’t say that about many teams.”

Guardiola was also complimentary towards a handful of Spurs players too, saying: “They are so fast. Kulusevski, Maddison, Johnson, Son. They have some fantastic players.
“The runners with Porro and Sarr, they have a lot of weapons and speed behind for defenders. It’s an exceptional team, exceptional.”
Only Dejan Kulusevski would start under Pep Guardiola now
Months on from Sherwood’s comments, we feel only Kulusevski would still be included in this conversation.
The Sweden international has been superb this season, scoring ten goals and providing ten assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, often cutting inside from the right flank to devastating effect.
Of course, Savinho has impressed on that side too, but Kulusevski is a more polished, impactful senior player who would shove the Brazilian out of the starting XI if he joined now.
In regards to Maddison, the England international has only scored four in 14 Premier League outings since his double at the Etihad Stadium – we feel he is no better than Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne.
With Son, Sherwood was correct with his verdict on the South Korean at the time, but the £59m arrival of Omar Marmoush means we doubt the Spurs No.7 would still make it at Manchester City.
