It has been claimed that Manchester City are still interested in signing Bayern Munich vice-captain Joshua Kimmich.
This comes from journalist Graeme Bailey on Chasing Green Arrows, after the German himself said, as relayed by the Evening Standard that he has no intention to leave the Bundesliga champions.
However, it seems like Manchester City have not been discouraged in their pursuit to sign Joshua Kimmich after all.

The 28-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world without question just has two years left on his current deal.
With Manchester City potentially set to lose either, if not both Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva, it has been reported that they still hold an interest in signing Joshua Kimmich in the summer.
“I still think there’s an interest in Kimmich there. We’ve known for a little while that they like him.”

As a No.8, Joshua Kimmich is known to create chances for fun whilst in defensive midfield, he would be a much more defensively sound alternative to Ilkay Gundogan.
To add to that, the renowned midfielder is also capable of filling in at right-back, as he was widely considered as the best in the world at one point.
