Manchester City are taking on Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend – and Gary Neville has now made his score prediction for the game.
City have enjoyed a good past few weeks following the last international break after stuttering a little before it.
Pep Guardiola‘s side have won their three league matches, and also defeated BSC Young Boys twice in the Champions League. On Tuesday night, City booked their place in the knockout stages once again, with their 3-1 victory over the Swiss outfit.
But a potentially tricky game lies in wait this weekend.
It’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge up next for City – and Gary Neville has made some interesting remarks ahead of the game…
Gary Neville makes score prediction for Chelsea vs Manchester City

In a new episode of Stick to Football on The Overlap, Neville looked ahead to Sunday’s clash between Chelsea and City.
City are the favorites to win the game.
But Chelsea enjoyed a morale-boosting win over Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night and will be hopeful of a result.
Neville believes that the spoils will be shared. Predicting a 1-1 draw, he said: “To be honest with you I think Chelsea will do alright in the game. Chelsea, in a couple of games I’ve seen at Stamford Bridge, they’ve done alright against big teams.
“(Nicolas) Jackson, (Raheem) Sterling, Cole Palmer, they’ve got a solidity in midfield. They’re a handful for big clubs at Stamford Bridge. Against Arsenal they were really good, (against) Liverpool really good. I’ll go 1-1.”
Chelsea improving, but City in great form again
Chelsea have disappointed again so far this season in the Premier League, but there is certainly potential with them.
They have a lot of talented players, including former City boys Sterling and Palmer. It just hasn’t really clicked for them yet.
They could definitely pose a threat on Sunday and City will need to just be wary. Neville is right, Chelsea have played well against big teams at home this season.
It is going to be a very interesting encounter. John Stones will be missing for the visitors after picking up another injury against Young Boys, which will likely give the hosts some encouragement.
