Ahead of Manchester City’s upcoming clash with RB Leipzig, Ruben Dias has lavished praise upon Josko Gvardiol.
Speaking in his side’s pre-match press conference (via Manchester Evening News), the Portuguese defender gave his two cents on the £200,000-a-week (Sportrac).
Now, Ruben Dias has spoken about Josko Gvardiol as a player as well as a character in glowing terms.

Branded as ‘phenomenal’ by Mateo Kovacic, the 21-year-old has settled in at City like he has been playing under Pep Guardiola for years.
Whether it be at left-back or in his natural position as a centre-half, the Croatian international is yet to have put a foot wrong.
Now that Josko Gvardiol is set to reunite with RB Leipzig in the Champions League, Ruben Dias has sung his praises.

“I think he’s settling in very good. He’s a player with a tremendous quality, that’s easy to see. More than that is the fact he really wants to win. He’s one more piece to join the party. He is settling in very well.”
Ruben Dias also complimented Josko Gvardiol in terms of how well he has settled into the dressing room at the Etihad Stadium.
“Good, easy-going guy, good to communicate with on and off the pitch. Individual qualities aside that’s a good quality to have that good communication, especially on the pitch.”

Ruben Dias is especially right in highlighting how evident the bags of talent Josko Gvardiol possesses is.
Defensively, the youngster is such an intelligent reader of the game whilst also being a physical specimen and on the ball, his passing and overall technical security is second to none.
Under Pep Guardiola’s keen eye, the world is well and truly Josko Gvardiol’s oyster.
It is frightening to imagine the player Gvardiol will evolve into in a few years’ time if he continues to work with the Spanish mastermind.
