It has been reported that it is possible that West Ham United now allow Lucas Paqueta to sign for Manchester City.
This comes from journalist Florian Plettenburg after it was claimed on Wednesday that David Moyes’ side were not even beginning to consider a sale for a fee under £85 million.
But now, it seems like West Ham United are warming up to the idea of letting Lucas Paqueta join Manchester City.

In fact, the 25-year-old is believed to have a fan of him in Pep Guardiola, according to the Italian journalist as well.

Now, Florian Plettenburg has revealed that West Ham do not consider Lucas Paqueta as an ‘unsaleable’ asset anymore after his links to Manchester City.
However, the Hammers are now demanding more than £85 million to sell the silky technician.
In addition, it is believed that the Sky Blues’ initial £60 million to sign the Flamengo youth graduate was rejected as well.
Good news for the treble-winners as the Lucas Paqueta deal seems doable
As is the case in most transfers, the fee in question is the only aspect that may put Manchester City off from signing the West Ham midfielder.
But it is a positive for the treble-winners that the Europa Conference League winners are now open to parting ways with him, despite having sold Declan Rice to Arsenal this summer as well.
With Pep Guardiola having always admired Lucas Paqueta, it would not be a surprise to see Manchester City break the bank for him, especially as a direct replacement for Ilkay Gundogan remains to be signed.
