Manchester City winger Savinho was in action for Brazil last night against Chile and one media outlet has given its verdict.
Manchester City fans have been largely impressed with Savinho since his £33 million move to the club in the summer from Troyes.
The youngster has had some very impressive moments, although he has yet to open his account at the Etihad Stadium.
It will take time for Savinho to fully adapt to English football. But the early signs are good, and the South American starlet has laid on three assists in his nine appearances so far.
In the early hours of this morning, Savinho was playing for Brazil in their latest World Cup qualifier, and one media outlet have offered some thoughts.
Savinho impresses for Brazil against Peru but ‘problem’ shared

Savinho had started Brazil’s previous game against Chile and did well, providing an assist for Igor Jesus to equalise.
Savinho was rewarded by manager Dorival Junior with another start against Peru – and the 20-year-old again caught the eye.
There were no goals or assists this time, but Savinho was lively during his 70 minutes on the pitch in the 4-0 win for Brazil.
He was tidy in the ball, completing 19/20 passes (95%) and also put in four crosses, although none found a teammate.
Globo Esporte offered their verdict on Savinho, and suggested he was decent in the game, but did highlight one ‘problem’.
They wrote: “He is one of the players I most verticalize the actions of the National Team. He picks up the ball and then goes for one-on-one. The problem is that in many situations he is at a disadvantage and ends up losing the ball.
“He had a good game, won a penalty after a beautiful play by Raphinha, but he can dose the momentum a little more to face the opponent’s marking in more favorable situations.”

Savinho will refine his game at Man City
It has been a good start so far for Savinho at City, although the youngster will be very keen to score his first goal for his new club soon.
Savinho made an important contribution for his country last night, showing quick feet to nick the ball away from the defender to win a penalty.
We have already seen him win one for City against Ipswich Town, and you would not bet against him winning a few more in 2024/25 due to his speedy footwork and dribbling.
We have seen Savinho get dispossessed a fair amount up to now but there is no doubt he will refine his game at City and become a bit more protective of the ball.
There is an argument for Savinho to be a regular for Man City after his bright start. He is clearly a big threat and is the sort of player that teams are going to want to double up on. It could get tough for him at times, but with Guardiola managing him, City fans will back him to shine.
Erling Haaland has already called Savinho ‘amazing’ so far this season, and he will only improve as time goes on.
