Joao Cancelo turned out for Manchester City in a game for the first time since January against Yokohama F. Marinos.
City played their first pre-season friendly match out on Japan, and won 5-3 after going 2-0 down.
The goals were scored by Julian Alvarez, John Stones, Rodri and Erling Haaland (two).
Pep Guardiola is looking to whip his players back into shape following that amazing Treble win.
They have Bayern Munich up next.
And it will be very intriguing to see if Cancelo makes an appearances, after he got 45 minutes against Yokohama.
Report shares the feeling about Joao Cancelo, after 45 minute showing against Yokohama
The Athletic have produced some information on the Cancelo situation this morning.
Fans have been quite divided about seeing Cancelo playing for City again, after all the reports of a falling out with Pep Guardiola.

Cancelo left the club in January to join Bayern on loan, after it was claimed he was not happy with his game time. Supposedly, he was having a negative impact on the dressing room.
Cancelo – who made a cryptic post on Instagram last week ahead of his return to pre-season – was in action for City against Yokohama, and he actually grabbed a brilliant assist for Haaland.
He looked really good during the time he was on.
But will he be featuring for City again?
Well, The Athletic say that Guardiola still does not want Cancelo in his squad.
At the moment though, the feeling is that there is no alternative but to get on with it.
The publication does add that ‘there is not a lot of appetite’ for Cancelo to get more minutes for City in pre-season.
Cancelo situation is fascinating
So seemingly Guardiola still wants rid of Cancelo.
But one issue is that he’s on very high wages of £250,000-a-week.
And so far this summer, there haven’t been any transfer offers for him.

It’s going to be fascinated to see which way this goes. But if he does end up staying then he is going to have to accept that things have changed at the club.
If he wants to play for City again, then there may need to be some bridge-building and olive branch-extending on his part.
