One Manchester City player left Phil Foden amazed in training recently, scoring a brilliant goal with his weaker foot.
The club have released some behind-the-scenes footage, including some clips from before the game with Nottingham Forest.
City beat Forest 2-0 in the end and rode their luck at times, with the Reds lacking that cutting edge in front of goal. City, thankfully, were clinical when the chances came.
And they were certainly clinical in the most recent game with Wolves, as they won 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Erling Haaland stole the show, scoring four goals against Wanderers.
Since the 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the end of March, City have plundered 24 goals in the Premier League.
One man who hasn’t scored any of those 24 is John Stones, but given one of his finishes in training recently, perhaps one could be one the way soon…
John Stones wows Phil Foden with amazing ‘weak’ foot finish in Manchester City training

Stones has again seen his momentum slowed a little bit recently for City.
He has only featured in two of the club’s last seven Premier League games, playing 90 minutes just once against Crystal Palace.
He went off at half-time in the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, and although he wasn’t out for very long, Pep Guardiola has opted to stick with the likes of Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji.
But fans will back £50 million man Stones to play an important role in these final four games – and it’ll be interesting to see if he gets into any decent shooting positions.
In City’s latest ‘Inside City’ episode (1:53) , Stones is seen scoring a stunning goal during some shooting practice in training.
Giving Stefan Ortega the eyes, he sends the ball sailing into the corner with his left foot, leading Phil Foden to say ‘You’re better with your left you! I swear. Hey, start shooting with that left’.
Stones rarely shoots
This was a terrific finish from Stones and it was little wonder Foden was so impressed. His reaction gives the impression that Stones regularly finds the net with his weak foot in training.
Of course in games, it is very rare that you get Stones shooting.
According to fbref, the 29-year-old has only had four shots all season in the Premier League, leading to one goal which came against Liverpool in March. That was when Kevin De Bruyne took a brilliant corner, with Stones turning in at the near post.
But certainly, you seldom see him having a pop at goal from outside the area – especially with his weak foot.
Sometimes there are openings for City players to try their luck from distance. But a lot of the time you will see the ball get played out wide, with Pep keen for the players to work a better opportunity.
Hopefully, we will soon see Stones just have a good from the edge of the box.
