Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for Bayern Munich No.6 Joshua Kimmich in 2024.
A number of sources have suggested that Pep Guardiola is eyeing a reunion with the Germany international.
Now – however – a key detail has emerged regarding Manchester City target Joshua Kimmich…
Joshua Kimmich update
Well, it was Graeme Bailey who first claimed that Manchester City want to sign the German – and are actually confident about agreeing a deal.
There was then an update from Christian Falk of BILD – who suggested that Kimmich is looking for an exit as he aims to hire a new agent.
However – according to a fresh update from BILD – the Bayern Munich No.6 is comfortable at the Allianz Arena, and has even made a significant personal decision which suggests no transfer will happen.
BILD state that Kimmich has just overseen the construction of a new family home in Grünwald – which he is now set to move into – something he surely would not have done if an exit was on his mind.

The 28-year-old only has 18 months remaining on his contract at Bayern Munich, hence the speculation regarding his future.
As a result of Kimmich’s contract situation, he is currently valued at €40m (£34m) by the CIES Football Observatory.
Who Manchester City could sign instead of Joshua Kimmich
Kalvin Phillips looks set to depart the Etihad Stadium next month, so Guardiola is likely to sign a new midfielder if the Spaniard does oversee any transfer business in January.
Interestingly, a number of central midfielders have already been linked in addition to Kimmich.
A story from the Daily Star claimed that Manchester City are looking at Fulham No.26 Joao Palhinha – who came extremely close to joining Bayern Munich last summer.

That same report states that Fluminense No.7 Andre is another option.
Be sure to keep an eye on developments at Manchester City, as anything could happen in January.
