With the career Erling Haaland has had so far, it would take a brave man to put a ceiling on what he could achieve by the time he hangs up his boots.
During Manchester City’s 5-0 massacre of Sparta Prague, Haaland surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League by reaching 20 goals in the competition for one club (23 games for Manchester City) faster than he did for Real Madrid (26 games).
Haaland also has more Champions League goals than Neymar (44) as he continues to make history in Europe.
The Manchester City striker simply lets his feet make statements on the pitch.
At 24, the footballing world is Haaland’s oyster as well.

Arsene Wenger predicts Erling Haaland could play until he is 36
Arsene Wenger seems to be a huge admirer of the Norwegian goalscorer.
Wenger defended Haaland last season and referred to him as “exceptional” when he was undergoing a rare rough patch in a City shirt.
Now, Arsene Wenger has predicted that Haaland could play until the age of 36, telling beINSPORTS: “[Erling] Haaland is a physical monster.”
“He has the instict, the timing, I’ve seen him scoring goals this year that are outstanding goals, control with the left foot, finish with the right foot. And what is still very good in the modern game is that Haaland is still a beginner in football.”
“Not in his qualities, exceptional qualities but imagine, Haaland has 13, 14 years to play because now, the strikers play until 35, 36. So they learn in every game and they use their qualities better and better.”
Previously, Arsene Wenger also praised Haaland’s love for the game instead of his personal “image.”
Once, Wenger compared Haaland’s mentality to that of Karim Benzema of being a fighter while simultaneously being an expert finisher.
Haaland’s father revealed his worrying future plans for Man City
In Viaplay’s documentary, ‘Haaland: The Big Decision’, Alf-Inge Haaland revealed that his son intends to experience playing in a multitude of leagues in Europe.
“I believe Erling [Haaland] wants to showcase his talents across various leagues. He could easily spend three to four years at City, then explore Germany for a couple of years, followed by stints in England, Spain, Italy, or France, right?”
Last month, it was claimed that Haaland is close to extending his contract at Manchester City until 2029.
Manchester City will be hoping that their star striker spends a majority of his career at the Etihad Stadium; especially if he plays for more than a decade as Arsene Wenger has claimed.
Haaland’s father’s claim may have haunted City and as a result, they have tried to tie their talisman goalscorer down to a long-term contract.
The Sky Blues will be hoping that the lure of playing in other countries and experiencing different cultures does not tempt the two-time Premier League winner in the future.
