Manchester City fans have expressed delight over reports that one of their players is now set to sign a new contract at the club.
Manchester City have had a busy summer on the transfer front, with plenty of outgoings as well as incomings.
And with less than two weeks left of the transfer window, the Citizens could yet let more players leave.
Rico Lewis is one of the players who has been linked with a move away from City, but it looks as though that will no longer be the case.

Who could leave Manchester City instead of Rico Lewis
Lewis may be set to stay, but with Guardiola preferring a smaller squad, City are set to offload other players over the coming weeks.
It has been reported that Galatasaray are still working on signing Manuel Akanji, though the player himself appeared surprised by Fabrizio Romano’s report.
Galatasaray are also interested in Ederson, with Graeme Bailey telling Manchester City News that the keeper is keen on the move.
Callum Doyle is also close to completing a switch to Wrexham for around £8million overall.
