While Manchester City have been linked with several players during the summer transfer window, the only fresh face they have brought in is Savinho from ESTAC Troyes.
However, City will continue to get speculated with signing players until the end of the window — as is custom with every other team in the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ as well.
With Pep Guardiola recently admitting that Manchester City could remain active until the end of the summer transfer window, the links to players will continue to remain the news.
As quoted by journalist Sam Lee, the £378,846-a-week man said: “Maybe in other years I said, ‘No chance’, but maybe this season it is going to happen until the end of the market. I don’t know yet, we have to talk and see what happens.”
It was reported on Tuesday that while City are satisfied with their squad, they remain on the prowl for cut-price, top players who are not fussed with starting every game.
Perhaps the Sky Blues’ outlook on their transfer business could change after Oscar Bobb’s injury; a major development which might be worth taking into consideration.

Fabregas shares his verdict on Luis Diaz to Man City rumour
But a player who has been linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium is Luis Diaz — who is contracted to Liverpool until 2027.
The Colombian international is one of the best wingers in the Premier League.
During City’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield last season, the former Porto wideman showcased that on his day, he could leave some of the best teams in the world sweating with his quick feet and electric pace.
Cesc Fabregas feels that the prospect of Diaz signing for Manchester City would be an incredible coup for the Premier League winners.
Fabregas told BBC’s Planet Premier League show: “You hear the rumours about Luis Diaz. Can they achieve that signing? I think that would unbelievable as well, another top-quality player to make the difference.”
The Luis Diaz to Man City rumour was quickly debunked
Soon after the speculation, Fabrizio Romano quicky revealed Manchester City denied the rumours surrounding Diaz agreeing a deal to head to Pep Guardiola’s side.
It seems like there was never any truth behind the Barrancas-born winger’s links to City.
In theory, Diaz could perhaps elevate his game under Guardiola’s guidance if he were to join the Sky Blues.
The Liverpool maverick has the skill, speed and tenacity to thrive at Manchester City and once he becomes more efficient in the final third, he could become an undeniably world-class player.
But ultimately, Cesc Fabregas’ claim does not seem to be one that will manifest.
