Manchester City have been rather reserved throughout the summer transfer window so far.
In terms of incoming transfers, City have only seen Savinho make a move to the Etihad Stadium from Troyes.

Journalist says PSG would be open to selling Gianluigi Donnarumma to Man City
Earlier this month, Ben Jacobs shared a post on his official X account claiming that City have approached Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as a potential replacement for Ederson if he were to leave the club this summer.
In a recent edition of The Transfers Podcast, journalist Duncan Castles said this about the situation surrounding Donnarumma and City’s reported interest in him.
He said: “Interestingly, Paris Saint-Germain believe that Gianluigi Donnarumma is Manchester City’s first choice to replace Ederson and they would be open to selling Donnarumma to City at the right price and it will be a very high price.
“PSG are in quite a strong position there in that they have already signed a new goalkeeper this summer.
“The first signing of the summer, the Russian international Matvey Safanov for an initial €18m (£15m) from Krasnodar, who was seen as quite a surprise acquisition by many people.
“But I understand that PSG see him easily as a potential first-team goalkeeper and potentially a better goalkeeper than Donnarumma, when he’s given the opportunity to play.”
Donnarumma is a top shot-stopper
After making 251 appearances for AC Milan, the 25-year-old joined PSG back in the 2020 summer transfer window.
Since then, the Italian has gone on to feature in 114 games with the French club across all competitions, keeping 39 clean sheets along the way.
In the previous Ligue 1 campaign, Donnarumma, who is picking up a weekly wage of £204k-a-week according to Capology, showed how much of a capable shot-stopper he is.
Specifically, he ended the campaign with the highest save percentage (84.5%) in the division after saving 89 of the 110 shots on target he faced.
However, with Shaka Hislop recently saying how Donnarumma’s issues when the ball is at his feet would make him a nonsensical signing for City, this is something that the Manchester club would have to consider if they were to make a move for him this summer, especially given how much it could cost them to do so.
