Manchester City’s youth setup has secured the services of Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri from Sheffield Wednesday.
The Citizens have been busy bolstering not only their first team this summer, but also their academy.
A month ago, it was reported that Man City were closing in on the signing of Kaylen Moss, a midfielder in Liverpool’s academy.
It was also reported that Tottenham’s Dexter Oliver was in the picture to move to City, while Aston Villa’s Freddie Lawrie is said to have joined City.
Cadamarteri has sent a farewell message to Sheffield Wednesday, and their fans have all reacted in a positive fashion.

How much Manchester City are said to have paid for Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri
City have paid Wednesday £1million up front for Cadamarteri, with add-ons taking the deal up to £1.5million, according to The Star.
As per the Yorkshire Post, the Cadamarteri deal is ‘another example of them (Wednesday) selling off the family silver in an attempt to survive.’
The local outlet says the Owls are under a transfer embargo for failing to pay money owed to other clubs.
They had been under two others, but were able to clear them with the sales of Anthony Musaba and Djeidi Gassma for a reported total of £3million.
City are getting a player who scored a superb 24 goals for Wednesday in the Under-18s Professional Development League.
