Ahead of Manchester City’s upcoming contest against Brighton & Hove Albion, Ederson’s future remains unresolved.

Gianluigi Donnarumma could join Manchester City but only if the Brazilian departs the Etihad Stadium.

However, there still seems to be no clarity surrounding Ederson’s next club. Fabrizio Romano reported that after Galatasaray’s €10 million (£8.6 million) bid to sign the 30-year-old was snubbed, Fenerbahce have been working on a deal to sign him.

Manchester City News revealed that Ederson wishes to leave Pep Guardiola’s side but with only two days left in the transfer window, he does not have much time left to seal a move elsewhere.

Man City reject Fenerbahce’s Ederson bid

Considering James Trafford is not Manchester City’s number one yet, it would be important for Pep Guardiola that Ederson’s future is resolved soon.

However, the Englishman is expected to start against Brighton on Sunday.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Fenerbahce’s €12 million bid (£10.3 million) bid to sign Ederson was deemed insufficient by Manchester City.

However, the Turkish club are “pushing” to sign the six-time Premier League winner.

Ederson’s agent, Jorge Mendes is “driving” the negotiations between Manchester City and Fenerbahce as talks are expected to continue on Sunday.

Man City star Ederson has made a U-turn about his future

Considering Manchester City News confirmed Ederson was keen on joining Galatasaray, he could stir controversy by signing for their bitter rivals, Fenerbahce.

However, Ederson reportedly aims to play in England after leaving City.

Whether a Premier League club enters the fray to sign the Sky Blues legend remains to be seen.
