It has been reported that Manchester City target Michael Olise is now edging closer towards a transfer to Chelsea.
This comes from The Secret Scout, after it was claimed less than two weeks ago that City had their sights set on signing him and Jeremy Doku.
But now, it seems like Michael Olise could snub a move to Manchester City in favour of a return to Chelsea.
Journalist: Manchester City target Michael Olise is now set for Chelsea transfer
Branded as a ‘special talent’ by Patrick Vieira (via the Daily Mail Plus), the 21-year-old, who has a £35 million release clause in his contract seemed tailor-made to join the Sky Blues to replace Riyad Mahrez.
Much like the Algerian icon, the Crystal Palace winger too is left-footed, technically gifted, a top creator and capable of beating defenders for fun.
But now, it has been revealed that Manchester City-linked technician Michael Olise is likely to sign for Chelsea this summer.

“Michael Olise was also a target but he looks set to head to Chelsea”, The Secret Scout reported.
Jeremy Doku could be the answer for Manchester City
It was claimed on Saturday that the treble-winners have agreed to sign Jeremy Doku from Rennes.
If that is the case, perhaps Manchester City had decided not to ramp up their interest in Michael Olise, giving Chelsea a free run at signing him.
Another revelation that emerged on Friday was that the Sky Blues have been keeping tabs on the Belgian international since August this year, which is a sign that they were always more interested in them.
While Olise perhaps fits City’s current profile of wingers better and is a more like-for-like successor to Mahrez, perhaps Guardiola has yet another trick up his sleeve after all by adding a more direct wide forward to his side.
In any case, with Jeremy Doku having been their target at right-wing alongside the French U-21 international, it is clear to see which wideman the English juggernaut prioritised on bringing in.
